  • Visit the Labcorp OnDemand® website to purchase laboratory tests and create your Labcorp Patient™ account to view your results. All Labcorp OnDemand testing requires an order from an authorized healthcare professional. For your convenience, Labcorp OnDemand has contracted with independent professional entities (collectively, Providers) to deliver healthcare provider services. Visit one of Labcorp’s  2,200+ patient service centers for sample collection. Labcorp will let you know when your results are ready and can be accessed through your Labcorp Patient™ account.


  • Labcorp OnDemand's Weight Management Baseline Test gives you an overall picture of your health across four key areas that show how your body is functioning:
     

    • Comprehensive Metabolic Panel (CMP) - Assesses kidney and liver function, electrolyte and fluid balance, blood sugar, and more
    • Thyroid Stimulating Hormone (TSH)- Measures TSH to assess thyroid activity
    • Diabetes Risk (HbA1c) - Provides current HbA1c level to estimate blood sugar levels over the past 2-3 months
    • Cholesterol and Lipid Panel – Checks total cholesterol, HDL cholesterol, LDL cholesterol, and triglycerides

     

    The Comprehensive Metabolic Panel (CMP) Test. which can be purchased separately, measures key components for insights on your metabolism, liver and kidneys. Included biomarkers in this test are chloride, globulin (total), calcium, alkaline phosphatase, bilirubin, blood urea nitrogen (BUN), sodium, potassium, glucose, total protein, albumin, carbon dioxide (CO2), alanine aminotransferase (ALT), aspartate aminotransferase (AST), creatinine, BUN/creatinine ratio, and estimated glomerular filtration rate (eFGR).
     

    Providers recommend the Weight Management Baseline Test, but will accept the Comprehensive Metabolic Panel (CMP) Tes as it covers the minimal clinical information needed to prescribe medication. You only need one of the two tests; you do not need to purchase both.

  • Providers will require you to share recent lab results that assess kidney function and diabetes risk, tested within the previous 12 months. For most customers, you are required to upload your lab results within your first month of starting GLP-1 treatment.

  • When your results are ready you will receive an email notifying you that they are available in your Labcorp Patient Portal. Upon logging in, select the test results you wish to share and press “Download Official Report” to download a PDF of the results.

    To share results with your provider, upload the PDF of your results online in the questionnaire when you start a new visit or a follow-up visit or send them to your provider via message if it’s been under two weeks since your last visit.

  • Your testing will be performed in a CLIA-certified clinical laboratory. Labcorp provides leading-edge medical laboratory tests and services through a national network of primary clinical laboratories and specialty testing laboratories. Our labs perform regular quality assurance testing to ensure our results are accurate.
